News: Halo 4 Infinity Multiplayer

The multilayer modus of Halo 4 will called Halo Infinity Multiplayer and takes place on a spaceship. That's what Microsoft revealed in a press release.

Halo Infinity takes place on the United Nations Space Command, The UNSC Infinity. The player will be able to create it's own soldier. The soldiers appearance and weapons are affected by the progress the player has made in the game.

The UNSC Infinity allows the player to choose between different game modes, Microsoft also revealed a new game modus, the Spartan Ops. The surrounding, the sounds and the crew of the UNSC Infinity will be more embedded with the fiction of Halo like never before.

Limited Edition

There is a standard edition but there is a limited Edition too. The standard edition costs about 69,99 euro and the Limited Edition costs about 79,99 euro. The limited edition will give the player access to nine multiplayermaps which will be released in pairs of three after the release.

And the Limited Edition will give early access to six specializations which allows the player to reach higher ranks, and new customization options. And the Limited Edition contains a special skin for the assault rifle armour and a exclusive emblem for in-game.

The Limited Edition will also contain a Briefing Packet which contains a blueprint of the ship. And a ninety minute long version of the Live Action Series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. Which will be broadcasted on YouTube somewhere in October.

News: The Old Republic free to play

The Star Wars game The Old Republic is free to play this weekend.

The Free to play period will start on Thursday 17th of May and will end on Monday 21th of may at 9AM. You can play the game to level 15.

The players can compete in Player VS player matches in the Warzones and players can play Flashpoints with other people. The profile and character changes are saved and will be stored until the player purchases the game, so the player can use his character again.

News: Battlefield Elite service for Battlefield franchise

Battlefield is getting a premium service which can be compared with Call of Duty: Elite. EA is going to announce this during the E3.

This service will be named "Battlefield Premium" and will be unveiled on 4Th if June. That's the date of EA's E3 press-conference. The service would offer the user extra content which includes exclusive items. Items like a black dogtag and a special knife. There is no information known about extra maps or new game modes.

EA said there was an option for a elite service. Recently, EA's Keith Ramsdale said that the publisher wants to create a "online universe" for its games, not only for one platform.

Call of Duty: Elite has over two million paying users.

News: Stealth Game Dark release in 2013

Stealth Game Dark is scheduled to be released in the begin of 2013 for the Xbox and PC.

The player of the game will start with a character called Eric Bane, he is a vampire. Bane wakes up in a bar full of fellow vampires and he doesn't know how he got there and how he was turned into a vampire. The player of the game will have to figure out what happened to him. The game has some role playing-game features. Dark is developed by Dungeons-studio RealmForge and the publisher is Kalypso Media.

News: BioShock: Infinite delayed

BioShock: Infinite will not be released in October this year, instead the game will be released on 26 February 2013.

The creator of the game, Ken Levine says the following about the delay: “When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing,” he said. “Since then, we’ve come to realise that some specific tweaks and improvements will make Infinite into something even more extraordinary.

Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need, we’ve decided to move the game’s release to February 26th, 2013. We wanted to let our loyal and very patient fans know this as soon as possible. I won’t kid you: BioShock Infinite is a very big game, and we’re doing things that no one has ever done in a first-person shooter.”


BioShock: Infinite will skip both E3 and Gamescom this year.

News: Company of Heroes 2 release in 2013

Company of Heroes 2 will be released on the PC in 2013, as announced by it's publisher THQ.
In the second part of the game the battle will move to the East-front of the Second World War. The players will gain the control over the Red Army (the Russians) and will have to repel the Nazi invaders from the very gates of Moscow.

The game uses the Essence 3.0 engine which has been developed by Relic. There are also the new feature "Dynamic Battle Tactics-systeem" and there are new Commander Abilities. And yes! More destruction in the environment.

There is a possibility that Ubisoft is working on a Avengers game. The domain name avengersbattleforearth.com is linked to severs owned by Ubisoft.

End 2011 there were rumors about the a Avengers, in development by THQ, was cancelled. Later on Marvel announced they were looking for a new publisher
